Expression of Art Exhibition

Art helps us express our inner feelings.  The simple act of creating through an expressive medium, helps us build our resiliency and our ability to thrive. Research shows that expression through these mediums help us explore and define a feeling, mood, expression, event, or journey.

Artistic mediums are diverse and compelling. The utilization of different mediums opens our creativity, our passion, emotions, and our inner secrets deep within. The mediums are numerous and varied, and they can be expressed through a visual or auditory format.

“I love to create life affirming jewelry. This beaded bracelet incorporates wood twigs, flower and leaf beads, and a hummingbird to symbolize “springing into life.” Creating this definitely fills me with wonder and hope, because it demonstrates that life is full of beauty and energy.”

“I love to create life affirming jewelry. This necklace uses an aged patina covered copper pendant, yet manages to convey a youthful spirit. The overlapping turquoise beads serve as a reminder that we exist in community, and that one is never truly alone. Once again, creating this definitely fills me with wonder and hope, because it demonstrates that life is full of beauty and energy”

“My digital abstract art is inspired by six-word-stories I wrote daily on Twitter between 2014 & 2018. The story is the title for all of them. This one is: ‘Miracle Worker Outside. Miraculous Survivor Inside.’”
